What's your Point?
A presentation is a vehicle for influence, not a data dump. Decide what you want your audience to do or think differently after you finish. Only when you know the answer to this can you structure your talk. Start by telling them what you want them to go away with and do or think differently. The rest comprises what they need from you to achieve your aim. Can they answer the "Who cares?" question? Do they care or is it just you?
