Being good technically is not enough
PROMOTION INTERVIEWS
Being good technically is not enough. Your personal business case is not made by being a good practitioner. That's assumed. To be accepted for partnership you must demonstrate wider attributes - those required of an owner rather than an employee. Can you lead teams and projects? What business do you generate? How do you innovate? What wider contribution do you make to your firm? Identify powerful examples to illustrate and ask yourself: "If I were on the interview panel, what would make me select this person?"
